My apologies everybody. It has been a hectic start to August and I was reminded yesterday that I had not uploaded July’s trading room results. So, my apologies if you were waiting to see these.
So, finally, …. drum roll please …. here are the trading room results for July …
Each point is $50 per contract. So, 35.5 points is $1,775 profit per contract for the month. And, in order to trade one contract you need a minimum of $1000 in your trading account.

E-Minis Volumes Up - Others Down

CME Group, the world’s largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced that April volume averaged 9.2 million contracts per day, down 23 percent from April 2008.
- E-mini equity index volume averaged 2.9 million contracts per day, up 18 percent compared with April 2008.
- Equity standard volume averaged 102,000 contracts per day, down 20 percent.
- Commodities and alternative investments volume averaged 801,000 contracts per day, down 15 percent from April 2008.
- Foreign exchange (FX) contracts volume averaged 451,000 contracts per day, down 26 percent.
- Interest rate volume averaged 3.3 million contracts per day, down 45 percent compared with the same period in 2008.
- Total NYMEX volume averaged 1.6 million contracts for April 2009, down 9 percent compared with the same period last year.
